Mark is a Sports Media student in the honors program, with a minor in French and is currently working on his Honors project. 

Mark is actively involved in various media platforms on campus. As a member of the WRIU Anchor Sports Network, an ESPN+ sports broadcaster, and the host of his own podcast, Mark’s Remarks, he has honed his skills in sports journalism and broadcasting.

For his Honors project, Mark wanted to craft a unique story that reflects his passion for sports, his academic pursuits in sports media, and his dedication to his French minor. This inspiration led to the creation of The French Connection, a feature story sumarizing what he has learned and a podcast series covering the URI Women’s Basketball team and its five French student-athletes and the growth and success of the team. 

Through The French Connection, Mark combines his love for sports with his academics and career goals, showcasing the great athletes he broadcasts at URI.
