Biography

Melissa joins the Honors staff after working nearly 20 years in high tech cyber security start-ups. Her background is in marketing and communications, which she will use at URI to help foster community and build engagement with Honors students, while also increasing awareness of programs available through the Office of National Fellowships and Pre-Health Advising. She has a BA in English from UMass Amherst and a MA from Simmons University in Communications Management. She plans to obtain her MLIS while at URI.
