Hi! My name is Santana, and I’m from West Warwick, Rhode Island. I am majoring in Marine Affairs, and I also hope to complete a minor in Political Science. I hope after college, I will work in law and/or policy surrounding the ocean. I currently work on-campus at the URI Biocontrol Lab. Although this doesn’t align with my major heavily, I am interested in all types of restoration work and protecting our environment. In my free time, I enjoy watching documentaries, hiking, swimming, crafting, and more. Please do not hesitate to reach out with any questions about URI’s Honors program!
