American Family Life Assurance Company (AFLAC) is an IRS approved pre-tax program. This program is designed to allow certain benefit premiums to be pre-taxed from your biweekly paycheck. If you use the pre-tax feature, you can only enroll or cancel coverage during the annual open enrollment.
