The Human Development and Family Science (HDF) Master’s Degree Prevention Science Concentration Capstone Project of URI serves as the integration project of all materials learned while taking part in this program. Specifically, under the supervision of a graduate faculty member, students will design a research study and conduct basic analyses in the hopes of addressing the research question(s) of their study. Students will have the opportunity to apply concepts, theories, and statistical analyses learned from their classes to address matters that may push further the field of HDF. The proposed study should focus on critical aspects that may be beneficial for the well-being of children, families, and/or human development overall.
