Bruna Boyle

Biography

Bruna Petrarca Boyle was born in Fornelli, Italy, in the region of Molise where she completed her elementary school education.  She taught Italian and Spanish at Narragansett High School in Rhode Island for 31 years and was the chairperson of the Foreign Language Department. 

Bruna is a College Board consultant and mentor, moderator for the College Board Electronic Discussion Group, president of the Rhode Island Teachers of Italian (RITI).  She was also a member of the Task Force Committee for the AP Italian Language and Culture Course and, for 26 years, the Director of the AATI National Italian High School Contest Examination.
