Biography

Dr. Mattiauda teaches undergraduate courses in French at the University of Rhode Island and undergraduate/graduate courses in Educational Studies and in the Gender and Women’s Studies program at Rhode Island College.  She works as a consultant evaluating and assessing local and international educational programs.  Clients have included The American School in London, and early childhood education and HIV-AIDS prevention and education programs in Rhode Island. She is the co-founder of the French-American School of Rhode Island and a certified sexuality educator. She has served on the board of directors of Sojourner House, a leading domestic violence and sexual assault agency in Rhode Island since 2011 and was the board secretary for one term.  She sings soprano with the Chorus of East Providence, and has performed with the chorus in the United States, including at Trinity Repertory in Providence, RI and Carnegie Hall, NY, and in Ireland.
