Yu-Hsin Lee

Biography

Yu-Hsin Lee is the Program Coordinator for the URI Chinese Flagship Program. A former instructor and graduate assistant of the URI Chinese Flagship Program. She has a variety of international experiences from studying and working in places such as Taipei, Korea, Canada, and Singapore before finally landing here at URI. Having bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Teaching Chinese as a Second Language, she is currently pursuing a second master’s degree in education. She has been an instructor from 2021 through 2023, as well as partaking as an instructor in the domestic Chinese Flagship Summer Immersion Program since 2021. She has further advanced into an interim coordinator/graduate assistant in summer 2023. Having developed through the program as an instructor and graduate assistant, Yu-Hsin intends to build upon the foundation and knowledge she has in the program to assist both current and future students. She is looking forward to continuing to enhance a stronger Flagship community among the students, and also expects to advise current students with the opportunity to study abroad and work as an advocate to push students to achieve this goal.
