Terry DeWan, FASLA, is the founding principal of TJD&A, a 9-person landscape architecture and planning firm in Yarmouth, Maine. His 40+ years of experience includes open space planning, scenic inventories of coastal Maine, and visual impact assessments of wind energy facilities, transmission lines, industrial developments and transportation infrastructure.
His current projects include the Northern Pass Transmission line in New Hampshire, a Concept Plan for the Fish River Chain of Lakes in northern Maine, the Aqua Ventus floating wind turbines off the coast of Monhegan, Maine, and the Management Framework for the new Katahdin Woods and Waters National Monument in Maine.
