Tarsila Seara (MAF PhD 2014, MAMA 2010) is heading to the University of New Haven (UNH) to begin a tenure track professorship in the Biology & Environmental Sciences Department. She will be developing and coordinating a Marine Affairs program for UNH that will be geared towards their distinguished experiential methods. Her research will continue to explore multidisciplinary aspects of marine fisheries with a focus on fishing communities’ resilience and adaptation. She is excited and elated to be joining the faculty at UNH and as pleased to be teaching and collaborating with students.
