Recreational anglers are optimistic about the effects of the Block Island Wind Farm on fish and the fishing experience, but they also have concerns about the number of boats in the area. This is the conclusion of a new article by Dr. Tiffany Smythe, Marine Affairs alum (PhD 2011) and current faculty member at the U.S. Coast Guard Academy. The mixed-methods study was a collaboration with Marine Affairs faculty Dr. David Bidwell and graduate student Grant Tyler (MAMA 2020).
