Students Analyze Human Dimensions of Marine Protected Areas

Graduate students in Prof. Dalton’s MAF 526 (Management of Marine Protected Areas) class presented their final posters on April 30.  Students worked in groups of three to critically analyze a topic related to the human dimensions of marine protected area design, planning, and management.  Poster topics included compliance, community-based resource management, social resilience, user-wildlife conflicts, maritime heritage and conservation, and US Sanctuary designation and management.
