Biography
I am a project manager and mixed-methods researcher with a background in environmental and social science. I completed my PhD in the Department of Anthropology at Emory University in 2022 where I studied practices of climate science, communication, and collaboration between environmental scientists and indigenous publics Kalaallit Nunaat (Greenland). My work has primarily focused on issues at the nexus of climate change, renewable energy, community engagement, and land use. A former National Geographic explorer, my work has taken me across the US and the Arctic for research, teaching, and speaking.
At URI, I conduct research and project manage a 2.5M grant coordinating an interdisciplinary team of researchers across three states. Our project is investigating the effects of offshore wind development using community-engaged methods. I proudly make my home in southern Rhode Island and can often be found exploring the beautiful coastline with my dog.
