Yang Lin

Biography

Dr. Yang Lin’s research focuses on microfluidics and acoustofluidics for advanced  bioengineering, environmental sensing, and emerging acoustic materials. His work integrates microfluidic systems, acoustic manipulation, and advanced manufacturing to develop next-generation platforms for organ-on-chip systems, microplastics detection, and point-of-care diagnostics. His recent research includes acoustic metamaterials based on trapped microbubbles for low-frequency sound control and acoustofluidic microphysiological systems for scalable and functional organoid culture. He also incorporates machine learning to enable data-driven design, system optimization, and intelligent sensing.
