I have been teaching an “Introduction to Peace Studies” class at Castleton State College in Vermont for the past three years. Our campus is moving slowly toward implementing a peace studies program. Just recently Dr. Arthur Romano spoke at our campus and I learned that he received the Nonviolence training at URI. I greatly admire his work and I want to expand my own skills in teaching peace and nonviolence. I will then share what I learn with my colleagues and students.
