About: 

I am a current AmeriCorps member at the Institute for the Study and Practice of Nonviolence in Providence. I work as part of the programming team with Sal Monteiro, coordinating and facilitating nonviolence programs in Rhode Island’s correctional facilities, schools, and community agencies. I graduated from Ohio Wesleyan University in 2012 with a self-designed, interdisciplinary major in Peace, Justice, and Conflict Resolution. I plan on having a career connected to international development and conflict resolution; I’m passionate about a wide range of social justice issues, including women’s empowerment, human rights development, and environmental justice.
