Dadul Namgyal works at Emory University. He is Senior Interpreter/Translator for the Emory-Tibet Science Initiative, preparing bi-lingual curricula in modern
science for Tibetan monasteries and nunneries. He received his Geshe Lharampa
(doctorate) degree from Drepung Loseling Monastery after graduating from the
Institute of Buddhist Dialectics. Geshe Dadul also holds a master’s degree in
English literature from Panjab University, Chandigarh. After serving as Principal of Loseling School, he worked as a Lecturer in the Dept. of Indian Buddhism at the
Central Institute of Higher Tibetan Studies, Varanasi. Since 2010, he has served as
Senior Resident Teacher at Drepung Loseling Monastery Inc., Atlanta. He is on the Board of Tibet House, USA, a Cultural Center of His Holiness the Dalai Lama.
