“Women, Freedom, Life” Peace Vigil

The URI Center for Nonviolence & Peace Studies joined the Peace Vigil titled “Women, Freedom, Life” at noon in front of the Multicultural Student Services Center.

The URI President, students, staff, and faculty participated in honoring Mahsa Amini, who lost her life recently due to the brutality of the Iranian “morality” police. The vigil was organized in support of the URI Iranian Community. It was also aimed to bring more awareness about what is happening in Iran today and to raise voices for a better tomorrow.

Freedom, Peace, Human Rights, and Equality!
