The Center for Nonviolence and Peace Studies is proud that our staff Thupten Tendhar was asked to deliver the Dedication Speech at the 2023 University of Rhode Island commencement ceremonies. Thupten talked about the importance of human values, including peace and nonviolence and living mindfully for the flourishing of self and others, to more than four thousand graduates and their supporters at Undergraduate and graduate commencement ceremonies.
