Carolyn has worked as a teacher and counselor in public schools for 30 years. After she retired, she worked in adult education, helping students earn GEDs, learn English, and transition to work or college. Currently, she is involved in social justice work with the local Unitarian church. In working on issues of social justice, Carolyn says that she realizes she needs to be better educated in dealing with conflict to make positive change nonviolently.
