Mayango is a humanitarian worker with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UN Refugee Agency) in Liberia, his home country. He serves as the Chairperson of the association and provides peer counselling for colleagues. He is a family man, a responsibility that he says he loves so much. He has a passion for making peace through advocacy and dialogue. Mayango says, “I wish to be an example through which I will share the knowledge of the nonviolence training of Dr. King’s principles for the improvement of our social co-existence in families and communities back home in Liberia.”
