Sam Kovalyov’s journey began in New Jersey, where his dissatisfaction with traditional schooling led him to homeschool himself and gain early college acceptance. His pursuit of sustainability moved him to New York, where he eventually founded the non-profit Haven for Humanity in 2015, connecting individual wellbeing with community and global wellness. As a certified level 2 Kingian Nonviolence Trainer by URI, he opened two non-profit centers dedicated to holistic living and empathy.

Today, Sam continues his mission alongside his life partner Christie, launching a unique holistic coaching training program through their agency. His dedication to personal growth, nonviolent community building, and environmental stewardship embodies his belief that self-care translates into global care.
