Tenzin is a teacher in the Sambhota Tibetan School in India. He has learned that Martin Luther King was an American activist, famously known for his role in the advancement of civil rights using tactics of nonviolence and civil disobedience in the US. His main objective in attending the institute is to learn about Dr. King’s ideology and philosophy of nonviolence, and his struggle for freedom and equality, so that he can teach his students about nonviolence and peaceful actions.
