Jimmy Prude is the CEO & Founder of Jimmy’s Vegan, a Wellness-Focused company making high quality Vegan Cookies, and breakfast products A Guilt Free Indulgence!™ His company’s mission is to provide people and families with nutritional products that empower a healthier choice, At Home and On-The-Go.

Jimmy brings a wealth of experience to the food & beverage world from his past in the tech industry at Microsoft, as a Program Manager and the public sector as a former Community Organizer. He has a unique ability to engage and connect directly with consumers, identify emerging markets, and grow unique brand products. Jimmy has used his experience to cultivate his products Jimmy’s Vegan Cookies, and Café Boyo in Chicago grocery retail, food service and online sales.

While growing Jimmy’s Vegan, Jimmy served as the Director of Chicago’s Good Food Accelerator, where he helped women- and minority-owned businesses gain traction into retail, food service and catering while opening doors to industry leaders, education, programming, events and connections that help grow and position their business for long-term success.

Education:

Jimmy is a graduate of Howard University, School of Business in Washington, D.C. he also attended the University of Chicago, Harris School of Public Policy focusing on Public Health & Technology. Jimmy holds an executive education certificate from Northwestern Kellogg, for Executive Management and Small Business Growth, and acertificate for Nonviolent Peace Studies from University of Rode Island.
