Special Guest Lecture on Inner Peace

This presentation will begin with an inquiry about our eternal quest and the mystery of the universe’s beginning with the developments in modern physics. The speaker will explain how internal excellence is linked to emotional excellence and how they both connect to peace. The ancient wisdom of meditation and yoga to pursue higher levels of emotional excellence will also be discussed. The presenter then explains how the purpose of internal and external excellence is the pathway to exemplary performance, creativity, innovativeness, health, wellness, and peace.

Dr. Pradeep B. Deshpande is Professor Emeritus and former Chairman of the Department of Chemical Engineering at the University of Louisville. His research into technologies for achieving perfection in manufacturing and services spanning several decades has produced a scientific framework for internal and external excellence toward a better and more peaceful world. He is an author or coauthor of eight books and over one hundred and fifty journal articles. He is a recipient of several international awards and an ISA Fellow.
