Elisa is a Restorative Justice teacher and University of Hawaii lecturer on the Big Island of Hawaii, where she has co-facilitated nonviolence trainings in partnership with the West Hawaii Mediation Center and The Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Kona Community Annual Celebration, Inc. She has spent the past decade guiding children in Title 1 schools to honor and embody Dr. King’s legacy through the Beloved Community Arts Program. As a facilitator for the Center for Courage and Renewal with training in Peace Circles and Victim-Offender Conferencing, she strives to help uplift and empower all oppressed beings.
