Gretchen is a writer and a teacher-consultant with the National Writing Project in New Hampshire, where she shares peace and nonviolence practices with teachers and their students. Gretchen and her husband Barry are long-time travelers and advocates for human rights, environmental rights, and sustainable living from a global perspective. They collaborate through writing, photography, teaching, and the arts to advocate for equity and social justice based on Dr. King’s principles and actions.
