Biography

James Tomb is a student at the University of Rhode Island, currently studying Film Media and Entrepreneurship. He is dedicated to his passion for merging technical expertise and social media skills to contribute to meaningful causes, and he brings a wealth of commitment to his work. His engagement with social causes is critical to him, and he has dedicated time to organizations such as Habitat for Humanity, Overland Camps, and more. He was an event volunteer for the non-profit “Sunshine Kids” and helped run exciting events for children with cancer. Prior experience as a Website Manager and Digital Assistant for Fairfield Enterprises honed his abilities in amplifying social media outreach, producing engaging promotional videos, and optimizing website traffic to enhance the company’s online presence. Outside of the professional realm, he is pursuing his education at the University of Rhode Island, combining academics with involvement in volunteer service. As the Public Relations chair for his local fraternity, he was elected to spearhead the fraternity’s philanthropic and outreach initiatives. He has also spent time completing service projects on several hiking trails throughout New England and loves to be outdoors.

James loves to meet new people and learn something unique every day. With a diverse background revolving around entrepreneurship, digital marketing, project management, and a loyal dedication to philanthropy, James is poised to contribute by utilizing his skills and experience for the betterment of worthy causes.
