Concurrent Enrollment Program

Registration and Costs

In order to register for a URI course, you must complete this online non-matriculation student form*.
*If you are accessing this form at your High School then your school must have eCampus on its *white list* for access. For home computers, you need to allow pop-up blockers in order to access this form.

Your completed form takes 24 hours to show in our system for processing and it can take up to 7 business days to process for registration clearance.

  • Submit this form as soon as you think you may take a URI course for credit.
  • Make sure you indicate the correct term of enrollment (Fall or Spring).
  • Complete this form for EACH term (Fall and Spring) you enroll in URI class since your eCampus account deactivates at the end of every URI semester.

Students are assigned only one URI ID # for life. When your ID# is activated for registration, you will be notified through the email you reported to us.  The first time you use the URI system, you will need to verify your information in eCampus and create “login” information (USERID and PASSWORD). You do this only once.

If you have already created “log in” information and you do not remember your eCampus password, you must contact URI ITS.

To complete your enrollment for URI credits, you will log into eCampus and use the class number, course code, course section, and permission number, to ADD your HS concurrent course to your eCampus account. All of this information will be given to you by your HS teacher. Enrollment is completed when you see a final green check mark.

I enrolled in eCampus but I am no longer in the HS concurrent class:
HS students who completed the URI enrollment process and who no longer want to earn URI credits or whose schedule was changed by HS personnel, i.e. guidance counselors, administration and the HS teacher, NEED to DROP from the URI course in eCampus. Please also email Christine P. Dolan, christine@uri.edu, about your enrollment change.

Costs

Governor Raimondo’s Prepare RI Initiative will provide funding for every qualifying public school student to take college courses from Rhode Island’s public postsecondary institutions as part of their high school requirements at no cost to the student or family. This fund does not cover the cost for private school students to take college courses, any summer course enrollments, and the cost of textbooks or other course materials.
