Ellen Flannery-Schroeder

Biography

Dr. Flannery-Schroeder received her doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Temple University in 1997. She completed her internship at the Eastern Pennsylvania Psychiatric Institute in Philadelphia, PA. Dr. Flannery-Schroeder has specialized training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for anxious children and has supervised individual treatment and parent training in the Child Anxiety Program (CAP) at the University of Rhode Island. Dr. Flannery-Schroeder’s research has been focused largely on the prevention, identification, and treatment of childhood anxiety disorders.

Dr. Flannery-Schroeder provides primary supervision for all students enrolled in the Child Anxiety Program at the University of Rhode Island. Additionally, Dr. Flannery-Schroeder works collaboratively with the Washington County Children’s Coalition doing research and community outreach and is Major Professor for students in the URI Clinical Psychology Doctoral program.
