Biography
Miranda is a 3rd year graduate student in the Clinical Psychology Ph.D. program. Miranda’s main clinical focus is on the application of multicultural considerations to trauma-exposed populations. Her research interests involve examining the role of contextual and cultural factors in trauma, PTSD, and co-occurring risky behaviors. She is particularly interested in the association of intimate partner violence to substance misuse among racially and ethnically marginalized populations. Miranda is currently working as a research assistant for the STRESS Lab and is a clinician on the Assessment Team.
