PCC AntiRacism Pledge

By focusing on the work of anti-racism and discrimination, we pledge to:

  1. Be accountable for the impact of bias and inequity that our words and actions may have on others.
  2. Solicit feedback to discover and repair our blindspots toward inequality.
  3. Speak up to interrupt bias and microaggressions at all levels – from individual interaction to institutional and systemic policies.
  4. Diversity our network and hold ourselves responsible for developing and attracting diverse clinicians and supervisors.
  5. Embrace cultural humility in our clinical work and practices.
  6. Continually listen and learn when others share their experiences, in order to more fully understand and accept that it may be different than ours.
  7. Conduct regular evaluations of our services and procedures to ensure that our work never deviates from our antiracist values.
