DPT Program Tuition & Fees

Why Physical Therapy at URI?

A 2.5-year DPT Program – Great Education, Great Value

At URI, you’ll develop your knowledge and skill through a curriculum rooted in the three components of evidence-based practice: research, clinical expertise, and patient values. You’ll participate in early clinical experiences designed to put theory into practice—and you’ll contribute to research projects. And with our competitive tuition and fees, our program is a great value whether you are a Rhode Islander or from another state.

URI Physical Therapy Clinic

A dynamic outpatient physical therapy clinic is operated by the URI Physical Therapy Department. The clinic is staffed by licensed physical therapists to mentor students and provide care to URI students, employees, and members of the community. The physical therapy clinic also serves as a clinical site for the program’s Integrated Clinical Experiences.

Clinical and Community Experiences

You will participate in clinical and community experiences that build and broaden your skills for future practice as a physical therapist. Through opportunities that occur each semester, you will participate in physical therapy patient care, interprofessional learning, and health promotion for members of the community. Through these experiences, students learn to provide compassionate care, advocate for patients, and provide services to a diverse population.
