Members of the URI community who need fingerprinting can make an appointment with the URI Police Department by calling Officer Debra Sheldon at 874-5262. Appointments are scheduled Monday through Thursday between the hours of 9am and 3pm.
URI Police use inked fingerprint cards for this service. The cost for this service is $10 payable by check or money order (no cash) to “URI Public Safety.”

CRIMINAL RECORD CHECKS
Computerized criminal records checks, commonly called BCI checks, must be done at the Rhode Island Attorney General’s Office BCI Unit at 150 South Main Street in Providence.
