Admission

Admission is on a rolling basis. Applicants must submit two letters of recommendation, two copies of their official undergraduate transcript, a resume, and a personal statement. A GRE test score is required for applicants whose cumulative undergraduate GPA is below 3.0.  An online application to the URI Graduate School is required.

Applicants who want full consideration for a teaching assistantship position must apply by March 15th.

After the complete application is submitted, the program director makes his/her recommendation to the Graduate School. The Graduate School will, in turn, notify the student of their decision.
