Dr. Jeong is an assistant professor of Electrical, Computer, and Biomedical Engineering at the University of Rhode Island. He is a Principal Investigator of the URI Power Electronics Lab.

• Funding Jan 2024 Prof. Jeong’s proposal as a Primary-PI, titled “Real-time Simulator and Educational Laboratory for Advanced Electric Transportation Technologies,” has been selected for funding from the Champlin Foundation.
• Funding Jan 2024 – Prof. Jeong’s proposal as a PI, titled “Toward High Reliability: Novel Power Conversion System and Power Management Control for Water Monitoring Stations,” has been selected for funding under the USGS NGWOS External Research and Development Project.
