Graduate School

The University of Rhode Island Graduate School supports, advances, and champions graduate education. Serving over 2,000 graduate students, the Graduate School offers over 85 master’s, doctoral, professional, and certificate programs. At URI, Graduate Faculty work in partnership with the Graduate School to manage degree programs, including requirements for admission and degree completion. The Graduate School is responsible for processing applications, granting degrees, and ensuring compliance with the University’s policies for all advanced URI degree programs, with the exception of the Pharm.D. Additionally, the Graduate School develops programming to help students build leadership and professional skills, and provides tuition scholarships, fellowships, and grants to support student research.
