The InfoEd eRA System is the University’s enterprise research administration system that provides comprehensive support for researchers and research administrators in managing the research grants across the lifecycle of a sponsored project, from proposal development and submission through award intake, award management, and compliance.
Researchers, administrators, and support staff can use InfoEd to efficiently prepare, route, and track proposals; manage awards; and maintain research-related certifications and disclosures.

- Proposal Development: The Proposal Development module is used to create, route, and submit proposals for external funding. It allows investigators and department administrators to collaborate online, complete sponsor forms, attach required documents, and obtain necessary internal approvals electronically before submission to sponsors.
- Proposal Tracking: The Proposal Tracking module manages proposal records after submission. It tracks proposal status, sponsor communications, award notices, award intake, providing a centralized record for all proposal-related data and metrics.
- Conflict of Interest & Conflict of Commitment (COI): The COI module supports the collection, review, and management of research related Conflict of Interest disclosures of significant financial interests. It ensures compliance with federal regulations and institutional policies in research.
