From Neurocircuitry to Neuromodulation

This translational session covers brain “wiring” and dynamics in animals and humans, focusing on myelin, pain, social interactions, and neuromodulation’s effects on human fear.  Specific topics: myelin plasticity/repair (Robert Hill); brain-behavior responses to painful stimuli (Amanda Crocker); human social interactions (Oriel FeldmanHall); and transcranial electrical stimulation’s effects on fear (Mascha van’t Wout Frank). Each talk is 30 minutes, with 5 minutes Q&A. Co-Chairs (Arturo Andrade & Ben Greenberg) then lead a brief discussion.

Co-Chairs: Benjamin D. Greenberg (RI) and Arturo Andrade (NH)
