This morning at 4:30 AM was the first CTD cast of the A.D.A.P.T cruise! We found a diverse array of both temperate and polar diatoms. Our first station was in the Drake Passage, one of the world’s most dangerous waters. Wish us calm waters as we make our way through the Drake! Posted by Olivia Ahern
