Gang was a postdoctoral research associate working in the Rynearson Lab on the molecular ecology and evolution of marine plankton. His research has been focused on genetic analysis of DNA sequences or genotypes, with an aim to uncover evolutionary processes and phylogeographic history of ecologically important marine species or populations. Having grown up in China and studied in the US, I came across and received higher education from two contrasting educational systems. I truly believe science knows no boundaries but also appreciate how cultures may promote its advance. I enjoy a collaborating international academic community.
