John is the Narragansett Bay Long-Term Plankton Time Series Phytoplankton Assistant for 2023-2024. He conducts sampling weekly in the bay to observed seasonal and interannual phytoplankton community composition changes. His research interests are in phytoplankton ecology. Professionally, John is interested in science communications. He received his B.S. in bioengineering from Northwestern University.
