Kristen Hunter-Cevera was a postdoc in the Rynearson lab from 2014-2016. She investigated the physiological and molecular interactions that occur between the coastal diatom Thalassiosira rotula and its associated heterotrophic bacteria. She received her PhD from the MIT/WHOI Joint Program in 2014.
