I am a research technician in the Rynearson Lab focusing on the maintenance of diverse global phytoplankton libraries, assisting with new and on-going research and mentoring students.
I have a MS in Cellular and Molecular Biology from the University of New Haven. Previous professional experiences include working in plant biotechnology for 16 years and mammalian cell culture in pharmacology. Early in my career, I focused on marine species collection and husbandry with cetaceans and pinnipeds, in both New England and the Florida Keys.
