Biography

Hi, my name is Mehrsa Khaleghi and I am from Tehran, Iran. I graduated with Bachelor in Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering from Kansas State University. Currently, I am a graduate student at The University of Rhode Island. I am planning to obtain my Master’s in System and Industrial Engineering and for pursuing it, I will be working with Dr. Macht’s SIS Lab. My research plan is to have a closer view on the applied Electric Vehicle stations considering their exiting function and making future improvements. This major inspires me with the way where learned knowledge can be applied in any industry, system, and even real-life situations.

My out of school hobbies are: reading books, listening to music (old songs from the ‘70s), beach days, traveling, and last not the least hiking.
