Biography

Hello. My name is Md. Hasan Shahriar Simanto and I am pursuing my MS in Systems Engineering degree at The University of Rhode Island. I completed my BS degree in Mechanical Engineering at Khulna University of Engineering and Technology, Bangladesh and I began working at the Sustainable Innovative Solutions (SIS) Lab, where we believe in the systems perspective of sustainability, in FALL 2016. Some of my research interests are sustainability and team performance, sustainable products, and renewable energy. My current research at the SIS Lab attempts to define how team formation and interactions influence sustainable outcomes on projects. I have a passion for sustainability and I want to be a part of the future where energy and pollution would not be considered as synonyms, but rather where people can believe that energy and their decisions as groups or as a society can positively influence a sustainable world.
