Biography

Hello, my name is Taris Wilde. Having graduated with a bachelors degree (B.Sc.) in 2017, I am currently a graduate student in Systems Engineering at the University of Rhode Island and Industrial Engineering Field Mechanical Engineering with a major focus in automotive engineering at the University of Brunswick – Institute of Technology. I am particularly interested in innovative drive technologies by means of alternative, electric, and hybrid drives. The design of various drivetrain components in conventional vehicles is also among my main area of study. Since learning about driver behavior is a key part of designing future mobility concepts, I have decided to research this at the SIS lab during my time here.
