Research

Justin’s research focuses primarily on the sorption of PFAS. They are working to validate sorbent materials to be used for the removal of PFAS from water. Additionally they are working with kelp farmers in Southern Rhode Island to assess the potential impact of PFAS on burgeoning kelp aquaculture in New England. Their research utilizes a combination of field and laboratory studies to validate results.
