As the Training Core Lead, Cho helps trainees secure opportunities to explore the interdisciplinary nature of our STEEP program on emerging contaminants and encourages them to develop their own professional career in the environmental and/or biomedical sciences. Our STEEP trainees are expected to be versed in their own specific area of expertise; to that end, they will be exposed to cutting-edge techniques of detection, transport and fate, and biomedical and epidemiological sciences; and will develop skills for effectively communicating issues relating to community, and environmental regulation.
