Research

My research aims to better understand long term human and ecological exposure risks of PFAS by identifying key drivers of environmental persistence. I am particularly interested in how biogeochemical processes and climate-driven changes drive the life-time of PFAS in the ocean. I combine models and measurements to better understand emission patterns, distribution and removal processes.
